Us over at 123 Get Scrappy have a new challenge up and running for ya and it's a bit different than you have been used to. It's a colour challenge! I stumble a bit with colour challenges but I think for that reason I also LOVE to do them because it challenges my creative muscles and I'm usually rather pleased with the results! I hope you all feel the same and will play along this month!

There is quite the 'looking-back-on-it-now-it's-pretty-funny' story behind these photos and this incident in Vegas shared by my BFF and my sister. I gave a teaser part of the story in the journalling circles but the rest of the story I continued on the back of the layout. I debated in telling the whole story (going on the "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas" premise), but I knew for my memories' sake, I wanted the story documented. ;)

I don't think you should be scared of color challenges anymore because I thought this layout was fantastic! The color palette is unique, but in an absolutely great way! I liked how you layered so many different colors, textures and patterns behind the main photo. The dimension elements you added were all so whimsical and fun and seemed to really reflect the theme of your page. I had to laugh at your write-up, too, (what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas), but am glad in the end that you decided to write out the full story. This is a beautiful and totally clever creation and I'm so glad you shared it with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
