Chalkboard technique at Technique Time Tuesday!

Hey Everyone,

Summer has officially arrived in the form of school summer holidays!  This weekend is a long weekend in my neck of the woods and I'm looking forward to a week off with the whole family (and some added out of town guests!) this upcoming week!  Yay!

Coming in under the wire for this challenge but better late than never!  The technique for June over at Technique Time Tuesday is the Chalkboard Technique and you can check it out here!  What better a theme for this technique than school (or lack least for a couple months)!  The report cards for my 2 bigger girlies were impressive (always room for improvement) but really...they did great.  This card is for them!  Great job C1 and C2!

Here is what my mind came up with.
Sentiment stamp is from See D's, the patterned paper is from Heidi Swapp and DCWV.  Ribbon is from Recollections.  Image Stamp from Hampton Arts/Graphc 45.

I coloured her dress using Derwent Watercoloured Pencils and a water brush.

I would also like to submit this to the following blog:
Simon Says Stamp Challenge: Anything Goes
