Happy dance time again! It's the Tuesday of the month where a new challenge arrives over at Twisted Tuesday Challenges to inspire and stimulate your inner crafty nerd! Myself and the rest of the design crew have some wonderful projects to share and inspire! Check it out over at Twisted Tuesday Challenges!
The CHALLENGE this fortnight is to use something on your project that starts with the letter "I" (ink would be the easiest :))
The TWIST: Use an embossing folder on your project as well!
I know the gears are turning! This was a fun project to do! After brainstorming a bunch of things that could go on a layout that start with the letter "I" (ice cream, icicles, ink, India, insects, irises, instruments) I finally settled on "icons".
Here is what emerged from my grey matter:
I popped all the photos up using pop dots and printed the icons from images downloaded from the internet. The title I lifted from a sign I saw while perusing the internet (how fitting). I extended the size of the journal block by masking the bottom part with a sticky note and then restamping it while masking the top part.
Everytime I look at this layout it makes me laugh at how fitting the title and the icons are in my life...(and I'm sure I'm not alone!) Maybe I've got it all wrong. Maybe the distractions are actually the laundry and house work....hmmmm I think I'll ponder that a little bit! ;)
I hope I've inspired you to join us this fortnight and please check out the other DT members creations to seal the challenge deal and get you up and creating. Be sure to linky up over at Twisted Tuesday Challenges. I can't wait to see what you create!
Thanks for stopping by!
