Alter-Ego Under the Wire!

Talk about coming in under the wire!  This card is for the folks over at The Greeting Farm: Alter Ego Challenge.  My 2 year old is up for some reason and walked into the craft room while I was working on this.  I spent too much time trying to get her to go back to sleep (with no success) that I had to resort to just having her underfoot while I busily completed this card and post with 3 minutes left to spare!  Yikes!  I loved putting these 3 Greeting Farm Stamps together:  body: Sunday; face and pony tails: Cheeky Geeky and hat: Latte Anya.  The bangs are from Latte Anya as well and they worked out perfect!  I had different mix and match heads and it was really hard to decide but I'm glad I chose this combo!  This card doesn't have any specific sentiment or occasion set for it just yet.  The "have you heard the news" was part of the patterned paper that came with the phonograph.

The Cheeky Geeky face actually has a bit of her hand touching her glasses.  This wouldn't work for the body swap so I removed the hand by inking up the stamp and then wiping away the ink from her unwanted hand with a cotton swab.  After stamping the image, I filled in the missing part of her glasses with a Sharpie marker.  Worked wonders.  I also coloured over the part of her arm that was covering part of her pony tail and filled it out to make the hair look continuous.  

Well, off to try and get my 2 year old back to bed.  Wish me luck!
