My New Addiction....(Part 1)

Hey Everyone!

Had such a beautiful sunny day in my 'hood today...but holy moly was it ever COLD!  Yikes!  Winter around the corner?!  I guess an early snowboard season wouldn't be so bad ;)

I just wanted to pop in and share with you a card I made using some Paper Smooch Stamps I got recently at a garage sale.  People have often commented on my handwriting saying that it's 'so incredibly neat' or that it would 'make a pretty cool font'.  I take pride in hand writing sentiments in cards or journalling and have a great appreciation for that handwritten look!  Needless to say, I've developed a new addiction with Paper Smooches stamps which have that look I so adore!  I'm sooo stoked that I've got some more to create with!

Here's what I've come up with!

sentiment stamps: Paper Smooches, background cloud stamp: Paper Smooches, ink: Versamark,  Distress Inks;  2-tier banner die: Simon Says Stamp

I was inspired by a previous Paper Smooch SPARKS Challenge Photo: Typography,  as well as their current Challenge: Stripes.

I made the banner with the "thanks" on it myself.  The black cardstock used for the center panel actually has a nice little glimmery sheen to it but the pictures do not quite capture it.  It took a little while to choose the phrases that fit the sentiment as well as the design.  I'm quite please with the result.
