Avery Elle - April Challenge is ON! (Part 4)

What can I say...I'm a bit of an eager beaver.  Here's another card for the Avery Elle-April Challenge.  I took a different approach with this card.  A less literal approach.  This time I focused more on the colours and textures of the photo.

The patterned papers are from MME, the text stamp is from Hero Arts and the hearts and sentiments (including the XOXO on the bookmark) are from Avery Elle (of course!).
I love how the coloured round doilies of the patterned paper mimic the coloured lanterns in the photo.  The gems give it that bling present in the lights from the photo and the wood paper plays off the rustic setting of the photo.
